System Support Technician

Job Summary: As our System Support Technician, you’ll play a key role in our support services for the products that we engineer and sell. In this position, successful candidates will leverage their technical knowledge to implement our support processes, help determine issue root cause, and increase overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Takes ownership of customer issues reported and sees problems through to resolution
  • Takes part in on-call rotation
  • Researches, diagnoses, troubleshoots, and identifies solutions to resolve system issues
  • Properly escalates unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
  • Provides insights and feedback to the engineering team to improve product design based upon support interactions with the customer
  • Defines and documents processes to increase efficiency and create knowledge repositories
  • Performs light assembly and configuration of product for stock and shipment
  • Performs repair of small electronics products
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 1-3 years of proven success in technical troubleshooting, help desk support, or related role
  • Hands-on experience with Windows 10 Environments
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Takes prompt action to accomplish tasks and meet established department goals and objectives
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively prioritize and focus on important tasks on a daily-basis
  • Being a systems thinker and having a broad technical background
  • Understands the importance of process and has a desire to implement processes to increase efficiency
  • Strong interest in electronics and circuitry
  • Bachelor or technical degree in MIS, CIS, IT or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Scripting, Coding, and SQL knowledge is a plus
