AWC takes pride in our employees, especially when they go above and beyond both at work and in their personal lives. Zach Lamb is a wonderful example of an employee making a difference in our world. Our System Support Manager is setting aside 24 hours to save lives on November 2nd. How is he saving lives? He is playing games with Extra Life to raise money for Gillette Children’s Hospital.
What is Extra Life?
Extra Life is a 24-hour fundraising and gaming marathon to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. It unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised over $50 million USD for sick and injured kids.
A Message from Zach
It’s that time of year again! I am raising money for Gillette Children’s Hospital. All proceeds will be going to kids that need help with medical expenses. This year my goal during the 25 hours of gaming is $1500. If we make our goal before or during the event I will be shaving my beard at the event. If we exceed the goal and make it to $2000 before or during the event I will keep a mustache for the rest of November.
Thanks for helping the Kids,
Here’s how it works
- Extra Life is a 24-hour fundraising and gaming marathon to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
- On Game Day (Nov. 2nd), Zach will join the thousands of gamers and dedicate an entire day to play games and get donations from friends like YOU!
- 100% of the donations go to my local hospital. TOGETHER we will make a difference for sick kids!
Your donation is tax-deductible and will make miracles happen for families who desperately need them.
